This special wave pot is unique and difficult to weave. It took Aligidi 7 days of continued weaving to complete this beautiful artwork. Azure sits at the ASIGE women’s centre to weave this basket together with other women, she comes to work with joy as she feels proud weaving the special baskets. These are the words from Aligidi “I always want to challenge myself so I believe I can weave any shape with elephant grass, thanks to ASIGE for all the wonderful opportunities and support”.
