ASIGE VEA PLANTERS are a wide range of multi purpose baskets that are intricately woven by women trained at ASIGE CENTER in Ghana. These are used for plants, kitchen for storage and bath room for T rolls. It takes 2-3 days excluding preparation of materials to complete the bag.
ASIGE is a member of the WORLD FAIR TRADE ORGANISATION. Each bag is exclusively made and are FAIR TRADE CERTIFIED.
Each baskets purchase is unique and may vary slightly in color or shape due been pure hand made. These baskets are ;
• Fairly paid (income to over 450 women)
• Hand crafted
• Finished with leather to add strength and elegance
• Provides Sanitary pad to a rural girl
• Help to enroll a teenage mother into vocational skills training
• 10% retail price as commission to the weaver.
