Rose Akuribire

Rose is my name; I am the overall women leader managing all the weavers in the 6 communities that ASIGE work with in Ghana. I coordinate and lead in activities in relation to weaving with the rest of the women leaders from the weaving communities. ASIGE work to me is a life changing game and power for women and young people all over the world.

Operation Manager

Peter Akuribire

My name is Peter and I have education background and so I ensures that the literacy project together with the reproductive health education in basic and high school runs smoothly. I  manage the Sumbrungu center and keep  records of baskets in stock  while making sure that every woman is fairly  paid accordingly.

Azaare Apongange

My name is Azaare, I have a wife with two kids, I want to see my kids acquire higher education. I have been with ASIGE for the past 3 years. All the complex design from ASIGE comes through my skill. I am in charge of training and quality control. I always want to challenge the norms and so I believe that every design is possible at ASIGE.

Immaculate Akansobe​

 I have 3 years of working experience in field work, so at ASIGE   I manage the production and distribution of sanitary pads, the vocational skills training for young people, and the baskets development. I hold Bachelor of Education from the University of Cape Coast Ghana.  I have been with ASIGE for a year now and I look forward to helping and managing the field work effectively into the foreseeable future.

Colouring and Quality Assurance Officer

Mohammed Yahaya​

My name is Mohammed, I am so passionate about women work, quality and colours. I have been with ASIGE for the past 6 years. I love colours a lot, so I am the one who does the dyeing of the basket. I manage all the beautiful colour combinations of the baskets from ASIGE. I also make sure that each basket woven by ASIGE women is at high quality and so I am a QC (quality checks).
