Christiana Nge

Queen Mother Christiana Nge is a respected traditional leader and retired educationist with a wealth of experience across education, community development, and women’s empowerment. For the past seven years, she has served as the Queen Mother of Bongo District, where she plays a vital role in promoting cultural leadership, social justice, and gender equity.

With a deep commitment to advancing the rights and wellbeing of women, Queen Mother Christiana advocates for financial independence and decision making power for women at all levels of society. Her influence as a community leader is instrumental in strengthening ASIGE’s work in rural empowerment, especially among marginalised groups.

When a woman can stand on her own, the entire community stands stronger. My work is to help make that possible.
