Cultivating Entrepreneurs, Building Futures
In addition to formal education, ASIGE equips young women and men with hands-on vocational training to promote sustainable self employment. We use a stepwise approach to identify, enroll, and support young people in learning vocation such as:
- Tailoring & textile weaving
- Hairdressing
- Welding & tiling
- Entrepreneurial and digital skills development
Participants also receive training in:
- Customer service
- Branding and product design
- Marketing and business development
- Technology integration for modern enterprises
To date, over 100 young people have been enrolled, with 65 graduates now running their own businesses, many of whom are also employing others within their communities. This ripple effect is key to building self-sufficient, empowered rural economies.
