James Finnie works with the International Social Enterprise Observatory (ISEO), a programme managed by Community Enterprise in Scotland (CEIS). ISEO supports globally-minded social enterprises through a collaborative 'Team Scotland' approach, which brings together key partners including the Challenges Group, Social Enterprise World Forum CIC, Social Enterprise Academy, Scottish Development International, and Scotland’s national enterprise support agencies.

Through CEIS and the Challenges Group, James has been actively supporting ASIGE in developing its international growth strategy including plans to expand in Scotland. His work aligns with Scotland’s International Strategy, and he continues to provide ASIGE with critical guidance on scaling impact, forming international partnerships, and navigating the UK social enterprise ecosystem.
